This blog post is all about batch creation.
We all are busy people who wear many hats. That's why it's crucial to save time with batch creation!
I'm going to break down what batch creation is, why use it, and how it is beneficial with time management.
BATCH CREATION
What Is Batch Creation
Batch creation is where you work on specific tasks within a block of time. There is all of this buzz about multi-tasking. However, there are scientific studies that it slows down our productivity. Whereas using blocks of time to focus on particular tasks boosts our productivity!
Why Batch Create
To save time, do more, work smarter, and not harder! It's that simple! We all have the same 24 hours in a day with many things to check off our to-do lists, this method saves us time.
What To Batch Create
Everything! Every single task that needs to be done for your blog can be batched! From photography, videos, writing, scheduling, emails, marketing, and more.
How To Batch Content
Use a blog content calendar, I have a FREE one here. Pick specific days of the week to write all your blog posts for the month. Do the same for photography, editing videos and photos, keyword research, creating pins, scheduling pins, writing emails, social media content creation, and more.
Break down your days further by selecting and blocking out times of the day to work on particular tasks. For example, Tuesdays 8-9 am, final edits for blog posts for the month. Wednesdays 8-8:30 am, schedule the month's blog posts. Wednesdays 8:30-11:00 am, create pins for blogs and schedule them.
Repeat this same pattern until you have each task scheduled!
Rinse And Repeat
Reflect at the end of the month on what went well and what did not. Make changes to your plan for the following month to do more of what worked and less of what did not work!
